About The Event
Hey Sis…, an exhibition meticulously curated to unveil the multifaceted essence of the black woman, spanning from the every day to the extraordinary facets of our lifestyle. It aims to challenge prevailing media portrayals by revealing the diverse and nuanced layers of our identity. What better way to convey this narrative than through the lens of eight black female artists, expressing their perspective through four mediums: painting, photography, digital art, and documentary.
Featuring: Chimemelie Okafor, PIIIIRRE, Yinkore, Joy Adeola, Naychi, Simone Patricia, Zainab Goldenn and Percy Eriamiator.
