The Practice of Looking
Art requires an audience; therefore, do not put your feelings as secondary. The practice of looking is a skill. Honed over time with repeated practice. I have always wondered why people don’t revisit art shows.
Value your role as the audience, I would argue it is the best thing to be. As the critic, you have to decipher, cite, contextualize, and theorize the art. As the critic, you have to be in conversation with the ideas before and as they’re happening.

Introducing MY VIEW, YOUR? : When Perspectives Collide
This exhibition isn’t just about what’s on the canvas, in the clay, or through the lens — it’s about the exchange that happens when their view meets yours.
We invite you to walk through the space, pause, react, question, and connect — to see where admiration meets discomfort, where love meets challenge, and where art becomes a shared language.
